Epoxy Stamping Tool

Epoxy stamping tools transfer a measured amount of glue from the epoxy plate to the lead frame bond pad in a single stamping motion — fast cycle time with consistent glue volume, shot after shot. UPT supplies epoxy stamping tools in stainless steel and tungsten carbide, designed and processed to match your lead frame and equipment.

How Epoxy Stamping Works

The stamping tool dips into the epoxy plate, picks up a controlled volume of glue on its tip, and transfers it directly onto the bond pad location on the lead frame. Tip geometry and material both affect how consistently the glue releases — UPT designs stamping tools around your lead frame pad layout and process speed requirements.

Stainless steel tools suit general-purpose applications, while tungsten carbide offers greater wear resistance for high-volume, high-speed processes.
