Matching a Tip Holder to Your Equipment
Tip holders are not one-size-fits-all — the shank geometry has to match both the tip installation size (H1 or H2) and the mounting interface of your bonding machine. UPT produces tip holder shanks across dozens of machine-specific profiles, from simple straight shanks to stepped, flanged and multi-point mounting styles.
Because shank geometry is platform-specific, the fastest way to get the right part is to tell us your equipment model — our engineers will match it to an existing shank profile or design a new one if needed.
Tip Installation Sizes
Tip holders are built around two standard tip installation dimensions:
- H1 — 1.7 × 1.7 mm installation size
- H2 — 2.7 × 2.7 mm installation size
